The Journey
In 2008, carrying both a dream and her first child, Kavitha arrived in Australia determined to build a life through creativity rather than circumstance. Leaving behind the familiar landscapes of Kandy, Sri Lanka, she faced the profound challenge of starting completely anew in a foreign country.
What began as one artist's quiet determination has evolved into one of Western Sydney's most recognised creative education organisations. Standing firmly beside her husband—her unwavering backbone—she built KJS Brush & Canvass Academy of Art.
Today, Kavitha empowers thousands of individuals across Australia through art, wellbeing, and community leadership, proving that passion, when fueled by purpose, is the most powerful engine for legacy.
Research & Thought Leadership
Advancing the discourse on visual arts and creative therapy through proven educational frameworks, clinical insights, and international keynotes.
